Been coming here for years....unfortunately the place is crying for updates and renovations. It's hard to get past the historic aroma once you walk in, which is shortly greeted by an odd combination of carpet and wall paper that is begging to be replaced. Of the two rooms, I prefer the one with the sunken dance floor, as the ballroom in the back seems stuffy with it's low ceilings and awkward layout. The food is simply okay, but nothing particularly outstanding, and the bar selections are too overpriced to wash it down. As a place that holds many memories for me, I wish it didn't feel so stuck in the past. To maintain a functional future it's going to need a little TLC.
The golf course is beautiful. My only complaint is too many Canadian geese! Good food and drinks at the bar.
Buena was in very nice shape. Always enjoy playing here.
Very nice course, challenging holes, especially number 10, great staff and great value if you take them up on their two for one offer.
